Balloonerism

The Balloonerism visualizer started as a passion project that brings Mac Miller’s songs from his 2025 posthumous album to life through illustration and motion design. The animation extends themes of dark existential questioning through the lens of an optimistic and playful tone felt throughout the album. Created using traditional media like cut paper, pastels, and watercolour that were rigged as a character model and manipulated in After Effects.
